Story by,Larry Surowiecki
Written By Brian Evens
Producers Larry Surowiecki, Ira Besserman, Fred M. Davis
"The Comeback" Basic deal outline with LOI from a major film
financier
The story is about the sport of football which we believe will have
wide audience appeal. It is difficult to think of any film about sports
which has ever lost money, but this is far more than a sports film. Basically,
it is a strong psychological drama concerning the relationship between
a father and his son, one which will inspire and humble people, taking
them on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The story also deals with a
character (the son) who has cancer, but not in the usual way with a maudlin
outcome or any tone of somber resignation towards the inevitability of
death. Our hero doesn't die; he fights his disease and he survives!
Along the way, characters change and grow, rediscovering themselves and
developing new relationships with significant others.
The original story was developed by Mr. Larry Surowiecki, who will act
as one of the executive producers, as myself. The story and screenplay
were further developed by Mr. Surowiecki and Leni Hamilton, a Yale Drama
school graduate and -winning playwright/screenplay writer who has also
worked as a story analyst for major motion picture companies.
The two have now created a drama which deals with "state-of-the-art"
methods concerning the treatment of disease, in which techniques of visualization
and other methods are used to inspire the human will. The special effects
(never seen before) in doing this with the football players and the cancer
will thrill audiences of all ages. In this very entertaining story, the
audience will learn first hand that the mind has the ability in large measure
to control the progress of disease, and in many cases, to permanently halt
it.
Mr. Surowiecki has an impressive track record in the field of mergers
and acquisitions. He fully understands the art of making a deal, and his
desire to make this film has led him to negotiate a 100% financing opportunity
with a very progressive Florida film lender for an amount up to $15 million.
A letter from this lender state's its interest in backing this project
with a negative pick-up financing arrangement. A deal like this gives the
players the final cut approval, wish is every directors dream.
The basic requirements needed to close the deal are:
1. Form a corporation for producing the property with the main players
2. Obtain letters of confirmation from bona fide and top producer(s)
and a director.
3. Obtain letters of confirmation from a bonding company.
4. Secure an agreement from a major motion picture distribution company,
approved by the
lender and Mr. Surowiecki and Mr. Davis
5. Acquire a top writer for rewrite . Note the screenplay is in its
first draft and needs a rewrite. The writer of "Cocoon" has said this will
be the next Cocoon and he wanted to do the rewrite, but his fee is very
high. We have others standing by.
Interested parties in pursuing this venture, a non-disclosure
agreement is needed. NDA available Via E mail, fax or mail.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your
cooperation on this matter.
Truly ,

#2 Spark
Genre: Romantic comedy Budget: $6.5 million Location:
Ireland, New York
By Olga Humphrey
Directors interested: Bob Clark (Porky’s, A Christmas Story, Baby
Geniuses) or
Richard Wenk (Just the Ticket) or Robert Dornhelm (Echo Park)
Producers. Ira Besserman, Executive Producers. Ira Besserman, Fred
M Davis,
Cast interested:
Gretchen Mol (Rounders, Celebrity, The Cradle Will Rock) Liz
Smith just said in her column about Gretchen Mol ,
Douglas Henshall (Twice Upon a Yesterday, Kull the Conqueror, Orphans)
or
Stephen Dorff (Backbeat, Blade, Earthly Possessions),
Roger Moore (The Spy Who Loved Me, Live & Let Die, The Saint).
In a forest in the west of Ireland, grandfatherly mentor BELBIN advises
teenager SIAVAS about her first "assignment" -- an American girl who will
be coming to Ireland soon. Belbin and Siavas are fairies, but far from
the stereotypical ones. The girl they are waiting for is AMANDA FORTUNE,
an aspiring playwright and student at NYU who lives with her old-world
Italian family. Amanda’s first play is about the Irish poet William Butler
Yeats and his unrequited love for Maud Gonne, his muse. Dublin theater
producer PADRAIG ROWAN expresses interest, so Amanda travels to Ireland
for a meeting. "Concierge" Belbin tells her Padraig’s been dead three years.
Amanda wonders who has played such a cruel trick on her?
Amanda encounters lonely millionaire QUINLAN SHOLTO, 60, who invites
her for a tour of the city in his Rolls Royce. A sensitive patron of the
arts, Quinlan used to be Padraig Rowan’s producing partner. Amanda also
meets 25-year-old DECLAN SWEENEY, a passionate poet who believes he and
Amanda are the reincarnation of Yeats and Maud Gonne. Quinlan tells Amanda
she has the talent but she’s not ready to write a play about a deep and
complicated love between two people. Declan proclaims his love, but Amanda
turns down his advances and returns home alive with new possibilities.
Seven years later. Amanda’s life is a huge success...or so it seems.
Amanda is now called the female David Mamet. She writes ultimately pretentious
plays about rich, white low-lifes. She is married to entertainment executive
STEVE PEVERELL, who cheats on her. When her new play about a crackhead
Scarsdale orthodontist opens to rave reviews, she knows the truth. It’s
a piece of shit. Later, when she catches her husband and his mistress in
the act, it’s the last straw. Amanda returns to Ireland in the hopes that
she can be re-inspired and to stop a production of her new play at the
Abbey Theatre, which Yeats founded. On her trail is Steve. Amanda finds
Quinlan, who hasn’t quite recovered from the death of one of his sons and
remains estranged from the other. He tells her he is heading for a trip
west and invites her to come along. Amanda also finds Declan, who has had
writer’s block for seven years. He takes her to the Most Romantic Pub in
Ireland, where Amanda gets drunk and Declan wonders if she will ever love
him. There are elements of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as all the principals
wind up conflicted and confused in Killarney’s National Forest.
Amanda is shocked to learn that Declan is Quinlan’s estranged son.
She returns to Dublin to halt the production of her play and substitutes
a copy of her re-written Yeats-Gonne play instead. It’s a bare-bones reading
with actors simply sitting and expressing the emotions of the lines, but
it is far more moving than anything she’s written since. Now understanding
the nature of love in a way she hadn’t before, Amanda reunites with Declan,
whom she’s loved all along. Father and son put aside their differences.
Siavas completes her first assignment: all has been made right.

By Eric Kornfeld
After suffering his third heart attack, DAN O’BRIEN, a cantankerous
businessman and father of three neglected children, finds himself in a
convalescent home unable to participant in the wheeling and dealing he
has always thrived on. Enlisting the aide of a young Asian attorney, Dan
buys a boarded-up bar down the block and is certain his Midas touch will
extend to his new enterprise as well. Unfortunately, the only patrons the
bar attracts are several of the seniors from the home.
In an attempt to help turn the bar around, the seniors reveal that
they are gay and try to convince Dan to turn it into a gay bar. Dan instantly
rejects the idea, but the seniors decide to go ahead with the transformation
behind his back. To Dan’s horror, he soon finds himself the owner of a
smashingly successful gay bar with a great drag show that caters to seniors,
straights, gays, you-name-it! And Dan is certainly not someone to argue
with success, even when the narrow-minded townspeople and management of
the nursing home try to close it down.
His friendship with the gay seniors eventually brings Dan out of the

Scherick is on board as Executive Producer. We are currently out

SUGAR ‘N SPICE
a dark comedy about sex and money
Sugar and Spice are the nicknames of Lucy and Nina, unlikely best friends.
Lucy is singular and intense from a troubled working-class family.
She is a uniquely talented artist but shrinks from committing to her genius.
She poses at the Art Students League and takes numbers down from galleries
that she never calls. Her friend Nina is a privileged Asian girl
with a bigger-than-life personality, unabashedly climbing the corporate
ladder starting from the bottom rung as an intern at a magazine firm.
The two are inseparable and have shared every experience from the time
they were both 13.
Lucy and Nina also both work at the Dollhouse, a downtown go-go club.
As you learn the girltalk down in the dressing room, the Dollhouse is the
easiest club to work at. The girls have no set schedule. They
come in whenever they want and leave whenever they want. This club is the
most down-to-earth, with the least amount of hustling and the least amount
of harassment. Because of the low commitment of the club, the girls
aren’t career strippers. They are single mothers like Summer, earning
enough income on limited time. They are students like Christine, putting
themselves through college. They are musicians and actresses like
Terry and Rae, who are making money so they can pursue their career in
the arts. They are girls like Lucy who are earning enough money to
bide time while they discover what their life commitment is. The
girls are like family and the regulars are an interesting array of characters.
There’s Vinny who has a fetish for long legs, Earl, a black Coast Guard
officer who spends a lot of time at the club waiting for high tide so he
could sail back over to New Jersey where he lives and Frank, a sad sack
lonely Joe.
The film begins on a regular night at the Dollhouse with the girls dishing
downstairs about work and drinking upstairs with the guys. But Lucy
discovers this is no ordinary night when she sees Nick sitting in the corner.
Nick sang in a rock band and dated a friend of hers while she and Nina
were in high school. Lucy dances for him and finds she is attracted
to him. She is awkwardly embarrassed by it. Nick feels the
attraction too. He blushes and tips her a $20 bill. Lucy is
surprised. The last time Lucy knew Nick he was broke and on the streets.
Nick has clearly moved up. He tells Lucy he owns a rock club and
invites Lucy to come dancing with him. Lucy resists but eventually
agrees.
The electricity between them leads to a hesitant romance. They
are each a little surprised by the other. Nick has never met a girl
who had the same outlook as Lucy. He is always amazed by her perception
and a little disturbed by it. Lucy doesn’t know what to make of Nick’s
largesse. His constant gift-giving, partymaking, wining and dining,
along with his secrecy about his life, makes her uncomfortable. But
she’s never had such a good time and the joy of their relationship finally
makes her accept and embrace Nick for what he is. While Lucy is discovering
fun for the first time in her life, for Nina fun has become something she
is desperately trying to achieve. A destructive relationship with
Mike, an up~and-coming political lawyer attached to City Hall, coupled
with the patronizing attitude she receives at her magazine job, has left
her feeling broken and unsure of herself. Consequently, she’s taking more
and more drugs, making sarcastic jokes about Mike and her boss and partying
more frantically than she ever has.
The circumstances of the two girls and the eventual life change they
are both forced to face is echoed in a sub-story about Frank. He’s
the sad sack lonely Joe at the Dollhouse, who is diagnosed with a terminal
heart condition and told that he only has a few months left. After
some intense soul searching, he decides to use up all his credit and live
it up like he never did. He tips outrageously at the go-go club and
gets a dancer, Kate, to go out with him. They go on a wild shopping
spree and have dinner together in a fancy restaurant. She makes another
appointment with him and finds him dead. Kate takes the money he
has in his hands, pets his cat and walks out. The relationship of
the two girls comes to a head when Nick ends up with both of them after
a particularly dizzying night at his club. Lucy at first accepts
but then feels hurt when Nick, who has been troubled by the intensity and
seriousness of their relationship, drops her for her best friend.
Nina is so caught up in her desperate attempts to forget her misery that
she dismisses the pain that she is causing Lucy.
Lucy and Nina each make separate attempts to avoid the situation.
Lucy has a half-hearted one-night stand with a painter from the Art Students
League. Nina tries to work at New York Girls, a fancy table-dancing
club but quits when a businessman forces himself on her in the VIP lounge.
The two girls realize their friendship is the most important relationship
in their lives. They try to make up but the union has been ruptured
and is finally severed when Nina overdoses on drugs that were given to
her by Nick. With Nina’s death, Lucy is forced to take action in
her life. She enrolls in art classes and begins to take her work
seriously. Nick is also forced to take a look at himself and he realizes
that he made a grave mistake in giving up Lucy. Lucy, however, refuses
to see him. When he finally confronts her at the Dollhouse, a month
after Nina’s death, she tells him it is her last night dancing. He
asks her to go away with him, but all she can say is that it’s time to
move on and that his ultimate commitment shouldn’t be to her, but to himself.

A small indy gem about the passing of an era and the Disneyfication
of Times Square.
A Piece of Eddie Rush
Story by Mark Hammond
Screenplay by Michael Diamond
All Eddie Rush wants to do is write his songs and perform at Bella’s
– an exotic dance club. But Bella’s is being shuttered by the new
morality and even Elizabeth, his girlfriend, decides to split rather than
wait out the final hours of Eddie’s slumping career as Times Square gets
cleaned up. With Elizabeth gone, Eddie decides to raise the money
himself for the new club. Eddie's history of bad choices resurfaces
when he lets himself be talked into a loan that hooks him up with Lou,
a small time thug, to run a final errand for Mr. Stone, a powerful, corrupt
real estate developer. The inevitable takes place when the simple
errand gets complicated and Eddie steps into the line of a bullet intended
for someone else. Elizabeth comes back, but it’s too late.
Set in present-day Time Square, A PIECE OF EDDIE RUSH is a nouveau-noir
musical drama. Eddie Rush, a musical genius indifferent to the brave
new world of commercial culture, is the Sally Bowles of our time.
Out of sync with the changing times, yet brazenly believing in a magical
future, Eddie Rush struggles on trying to do the right thing. But
his world is music, not big business, and fate has it that only his music
will survive the passing of old Times Square.

Winner's Circle
(Can be done for under one million)
Winner's Circle is a low budget sports film about one common man's extraordinary
quest to become the best, to overcome his failed relationship with his
father, to overcome his own sell-out to his corporate career, to win back
his lost glory and self-respect, to compete in the Olympics and join the
elite athletes in the Winner's Circle. Paul Hartman, once a gifted high
school athlete - in fact the best - has fallen from grace. Embittered about
his relationship with his father, he has sold out to the corporate world
, lost his heart, and with it, his desire to compete again. What
will it take to put Hartman back in the Winner's Circle - It will take
nothing less than heart- the essence of all true champions!
Skyler and The Lord of The
Eagles
(under a million)
Inspired by a true story of a baby bald eagle which survived a terrible
fall after it was cut down out of its nest in Seminole, Florida in 1992.
The story made international headlines, when the egg was taken to the Audubon
Society to incubate. The world held its breath and waited, and then - a
miracle - the egg hatched, the little eagle survived to return to the wilds.
Written from the viewpoint of Skyler, a troubled little boy who finds it,
the story has been fictionalized to become a Disneyesque feature film,
this time not about Simba, the Lion King, but about the lord of birds -
The Eagle.
The plot involves the theft of the egg and the children's quest to
find it again before the eagle inside it dies. The children are aided in
their quest by Billy White Deer, a Native American, who teaches them to
love and respect the natural environment; the subplot deal with Skyler's
emotional healing from the death of his father, when the boy flies in his
dream to the mountains to meet The Lord of The Eagles who teaches him the
hope and joy of reaching beyond oneself to higher dreams and aspirations,
of learning to soar like an eagle. Contact Eagle

and sub sequential UFO sightings. The film (screenplay) provides the audience
with an all - too frightening, logical and rational explanation to
the mystery of the bizarre mutilations. Until now an explanation overlooked
by UFO enthusiast and mutilation researchers. The key to the mystery has
been right under their noses all along, for the most part that is. Also
the story has a unique twist in a worldwide TV broadcast. A ghastly and
overwhelming cattle mutilation is filmed and aired and the mystery is exposed.
Following the broadcast is an ending that suggests there is even more to
the story than anyone could have thought possible.
Ultimately, the film deals with the question of honor, personal integrity
and truth from individuals to the highest levels of power, an environmental
issue, that until now, has been kept from the public. The Prometheus Broadcast,
a film that entertains, educates, enlightens and invokes concern for our
environment now and in the future.
One of the main protagonist, William T Fargo, now the head of the Department
of Defense, is a hardened retired Air Force General, and a member of the
new world order's secret councils. who as a young pilot was partially responsible
for the Hiroshima bombing. Cynical and embittered, with a liver illness,
Fargo, in charge of the proliferation of nuclear energy, has an obsession
for power and fire which has taken on the mythical proportions of Greek
drama. Like Prometheus, who stole fire from the Gods, and was chained to
a rock for giving it to man, Fargo has become chained to his position of
knowledge and power, paralleling the myth of Prometheus.
Through a series of events, Fargo's hardened conscience is touched
and his obsession becomes his
salvation, a means to end his tormented memories. In one last act of
heroic self-sacrifice, he reclaims his humanness, and frees himself from
the chains of guilt and power, winning back his self-respect and lost honor.
Fargo's nemesis and the second protagonist, R. Devere, a man born with
out a soul. Ambassador to the United Nations and also a member of the new
world order's secret council. Devere (paralleling the vulture in the myth
of Prometheus' demise) poised to save his position in power and with an
alien tradeoff of technology, will do anything to remain in control. The
two are involved in covert efforts to use alien technology on the current
problems of spreading radiation contaminants. The two men send their separate
prodigies to North Alabama from Washington to manage a growing public outcry
due to the mutilations.
Devere sends his man Tomas, (paralleling a underworld myth) to see
that a highly classified exercise
completes it's task, and if any necessary measures are needed, will
be taken care of. Devere also travels to the site to show the public a
polished truth, guiding them in the opposite direction.
Fargo, finding this out, plans his own a hidden agenda and sends his
man Riley (paralleling Hercules, who in myth, frees Prometheus) to act
as his eyes and ears. Hoping that Riley, armed with only enough information
to raise curiosity, will act on his inherent honor and find the truth and
somehow expose it. With the view of finally being free, Fargo betrays Devere
and his own position of power and actually saves Riley's life at the very
time Riley is about to expose the secrets.
Riley learns more about the mutilations as he enters the southern town,
first from a local radio talk show and then through; local newspapers,
a reporter, a whistle blower and a female pathologist Liz (paralleling
Pandora) . In his search for the truth and subsequently her search as well,
they fall in love. With the death of her baby, Liz tries to make a connection
between the local Indian children's plight and her daughter's death. Riley,
ordered to leave town by Fargo, deserts Liz. Fargo, looking out for the
safety of Riley , orders Riley back to Washington, but at the same time
pushes his buttons hoping that Riley will break his bond with his superiors
and take a stand for truth and honor. At the last moment Riley is approached
by a whistle blower who shows him something that turns his life around.
Returning to the town Riley befriends a librarian and her son Ellery
(paralleling the remnant of Pandora's box, hope) a young computer whiz,
who seemingly dreams about UFO's. Ellery joins Riley and Liz to find the
next location of the mutilations. Meeting with an Indian Chief , they are
given clues to the patterns of mutilation sites. Ellery, using his computer
and the Indians' clues, finds the next site. In his exhaustion, Ellery
falls asleep and has an alien induced dream, which impales knowledge of
changeable pending doom. With his new knowledge he designs a secret Internet
chain letter, which shows the truth and calls for a solution to the worlds
biggest environment problem. Riley , Liz and Ellery go on a overwhelming
filming trip to find a live mutilation, escaping a life threatening alien
encounter, are able to capture it on videotape.
They plan to broadcast the video over the television networks. Unknowingly
they are being watched and listened to by Devere and his men, who will
use any means to stop them. Through calamitous events they broadcast the
video and expose the truth to the public, further capturing the myth of
Prometheus and subsequently freeing Fargo. Ellerys' Internet chain letter
spans the globe bringing hope to a seemly hopeless problem. The story ends,
positive, up beat and is topped off with Ellery receiving an alien contact
with a message for the future of mankind. The story is capped off in a
twist whether the whole thing was just a dream or not. Contact

This is what Liz Smith just said
in her column about Gretchen Mol, who wants to do Spark:
REMEMBER WHEN Vanity Fair put Gretchen Mol on its cover last year
predicting great stardom? Well, that didn't happen; she kind of evaporated
on screen in "Rounders" opposite Matt Damon. But word has it that Mol is
all she was originally hyped to be in Paul Schrader's coming "Forever Mine."
One first-peeker actually compares Mol's screen presence to that of '50s
femme fatale Kim Novak! The film itself, a tale of star-crossed love, is
said to be splendid, and ravishingly photographed.

The Fifth Flight
of the Kitty Hawk

Outline of the Fifth Flight of Kitty Hawk.
On December 17th, 2003, five of the G7 leaders gather in Washington,
D. C., at the Smithsonians National Air and Space Museum*, for the 100th
anniversary of the Wright brothers historic first four flights, which coincides
with their economic summit. Software America's IMAX fiber optics technology
will link Washington with the remaining two G7 countries, Japan and England,
whose Prime Ministers have opted not to join their counterparts so that
they may host anniversary celebrations in their respective countries.
The G7's economic summit main focus is to determine whether or
not to place monopoly sanctions on Software America, which has written
85% of the software for the world's security codes. The reclusive Curtis
Glen, CEO of Software America and avid collector of vintage airplanes,
is going to Washington to lobby them against any such action.
Glen first started working for the United States government in
1961 as a CIA operative during the Kennedy administration's ill fated 'Operation
Zapata' (Bay of Pigs invasion). Using the embryonic computer field, with
the help of Russian monies funneled through Cuba and some well placed blackmail,
he was able to parlay his company into the wealthiest in the world.
Marine General Paul Laurence started his career in U.S. Naval
Intelligence, and subsequently, his association with Glen, during the same
'Operation Zapata'. In 1943, at the age of nine, the former Vietnam POW,
Congressional Medal of Honor winner was dubbed the 'Protector of
the Kitty Hawk' by Orville Wright at the 40th Anniversary Gala. As
Honorary Chairman for the Centennial Celebration, one of Paul's duties
is to do a 'fly by' with the Blue Angels in the most stout military aircraft
ever built, the F22 Raptor. That all ends when a mysterious computer
glitch causes him to crash during a practice run in the California desert.
Paul's son, John, who was first in the class of 1988 at the U.S.
Naval Academy, never felt he lived up to his father's expectations.
To make matters worse, he gave more than his name, rank and serial number
to his Iraqi captors during the Gulf War. Not being able to live
with his own disappointments, he exiled himself to Siberia to work with
the U.S. Department of Energy on a joint venture with Russia and the G7
European nations. Their mission: to inventory and monitor the
movement of Nuclear warheads in the Balkans that were left over from the
fall of the Soviet Union.
John accepts an invitation from the head of the joint chiefs of
staff, and close family friend, General Chris Conlin, to take his late
father's place as 'Honorary Protector of the Kitty Hawk', at the Centennial
Celebration, upon his return to Washington. Glen's company, whose
president is John's enstranged wife, Angela Battista, faces a hostile takeover
when Wall Street reacts to the news of the inpending monopoly sanctions.
To fight off the takeover, Glen plans to use Angela's development teams
experimental cutting edge aircraft, the Proteus satellite plane, to convince
the G7 leaders that their actions would be ill advised. As a small
perk, he also intends to add the most sacred aircraft in all of aviation
to his collection. But there's a slight glitch in his software, it
doesn't allow for John Laurence, and the 100 year old airplane, rising
to the occasion in...
.......The Fifth Flight of the Kitty Hawk.

entwined by coin counterfeiters and a worldwide counterfeiting underground.
She is about to give up her search for the rare coins, believing they are
fake and in fear for her life. Devastated by the ring of conspiracy she

on the journey. Then in a spiritual zeal, she completes her journey. Through a twist of fait, she finds
